Mooneyham Air and Heating's Exceptional Generosity

At Citizens Moving Forward, Inc. (CMF), we have experienced generosity that goes far beyond measure. While many individuals and businesses demonstrate kindness within our community, Mr. Gary Mooneyham, owner of Mooneyham Air and Heating, has truly distinguished himself through his remarkable compassion and commitment to helping others.

Since CMF’s founding in 2016, Mooneyham Air and Heating has faithfully maintained the center’s HVAC systems, some of which date back to 1997, keeping them operational far beyond their expected lifespan. In fact, when one unit finally reached the end of its service life, Mr. Mooneyham personally donated a replacement unit, ensuring CMF could continue serving the community comfortably. His team of skilled technicians often marveled at how long the aging systems lasted, and their expertise and dedication kept them running through countless seasons.

Earlier this year, CMF received grant funding from the United Way to complete preventive maintenance on the units in hopes of extending their remaining life. Mooneyham’s team performed a thorough cleaning and servicing of each system, even adding freon where needed. At that time, the technicians gently reminded us that their “magic” could only last so long.

True to his word, Mr. Mooneyham later informed us that he might have a unit available for donation in the fall. When we contacted him for an estimate to replace a unit that had failed, he not only honored his earlier promise but exceeded it, donating and installing three HVAC units.

From the Good Book, Matthew 5:16 reminds us, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” We have witnessed the shining light of Mooneyham Air and Heating’s generosity firsthand. We glorify our Heavenly Father for this blessing, and we also lift up Mr. Mooneyham and his team, that the community may know of their kindness, professionalism, and heart for service.
