Milton Walmart's Grand opening

The new Walmart Neighborhood Store in Milton celebrated its grand opening on August 6, 2025, with true fanfare—creating an atmosphere that genuinely felt like a warm neighborhood gathering.

We were honored to be selected as one of four local recipients of their community support. These funds will help us continue hosting our Golden Gatherings Luncheons, where we welcome individuals 60 years and older to enjoy a delicious lunch, hear valuable insights from a guest speaker, and take part in fun activities like bingo.

Our gatherings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. While the event is designed for those 60 and above, anyone younger who accompanies a senior is also welcome to join in the fun.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Walmart for being such a thoughtful and supportive neighbor—and we warmly welcome them to the community.
